Many pet parents mention the frustration of their dog separating the pill from the hider and then spitting out the pill; only to keep the treat for themself!
To combat this, we use "texture confusion" by incorporating real bits of whole oats, peanuts, apples, and blueberries into our soft dough.
This mix of textures confuses the dog's palate, making it harder for them to detect the pill and reducing the chance of them spitting it out.
